Aug 28, 2003 · Use another test, Shields up is over rated and is HORRIBLE There are many free port scanners that don't suck that much, I would look for one, port 0 is usually symbolic for IP, it's not a thing to worry about but why any port scanner picks up any ports is, you should be using a firewall/router
Mar 25, 2015 · Please be aware that whilst Shields Up will tell you what ports may be open, it doesn't actually try and use them to get in and "do anything". It also doesn't do a full port test as standard and onlytests the first 1056 ports.
